The wind barely blew through the small town of Berk, the perfect day for flying.
"Toothless!"
He grinned as the small Night Fury landed next to him.
"Ready to fly, buddy?"
The dragon nodded and lowered his body so Hiccup could climb up, since it was hard to with a fake metal limb.
"Let's fly."
The dragon nodded, tensed his legs, and leaped into the air with a flap of his wings. Hiccup held on loosely, confident that his legs could hold him on for the most part. The wind whipped his hair around as Toothless dived and spiraled through the air.
"Wish you could speak, Toothless. I just need someone to talk with."
Toothless looked back at him, trying to smile reassuringly at him, but failing once again. Hiccup smiled and laughed, leaning down to scratch the dragon's neck.
"Thanks for the attempt, Toothless."
He looked down at his village, frowning slightly.
"The Forges are pushing everyone harder recently. They think we're in danger of an attack, but what else could attack us? The dragons are on our side now."
Toothless seemed to shrug his shoulders as he started a slight dive.
"Could be other Vikings, but we haven't seen any others in a long time."
He laid his head down on Toothless' neck.
"Land where we usually do, buddy. Where we first met."
The dragon nodded his head as he flew towards a large space in the trees.
Hiccup jumped off of Toothless and turned to him, the dragon nudging his head into Hiccup's shoulder.
"Hiccup, wake up."
"What?"
"Toothless!"

Sick Days-Toothless POV
Birds are pretty. That's what I decided as I laid quietly in the morning sun and watched two pretty little birds fly around in the trees. I felt a pang of unhappiness as I realized that I used to be able to do that, but instead of trees, I flew around pillars or rocks and oceans and even the stars and the moon! (At least in my own mind). I huffed in unhappiness before I heard a rustle over on the other side of my lake (It is mine, for I live here now.) I was on edge for a second until I saw a head of brown pop out from the hole that was above rock like stair steps and I

Hiccup grinned to himself as he ran back to his house after dragon training. He had successfully "defeated" a dragon without harming the beast and he was glad. He knew that if he actually hurt one of the dragons, he'd never be able to look Toothless in the face.
His smile widened at the thought of his black dragon and he hopped the stairs up to his house two at a time so he could get there faster. Today was an extremely hot day. Extremely hot. So today instead of going flying with Toothless, he had something different planned.
He opened the door to his house and went to the ce

Eating Out
It was a peaceful night. Or, early morning. It was about five in the morning and the sun was still reluctant to peak past the ocean and no one was up yet, except for a few dragons that still enjoyed being out during the night. The stars sparkled happily above and all the Vikings of the village were taking advantage of the fact they didn't have to be up early in the morning anymore to fight dragons.
Well, most of them.
Hiccup yawned softly as he opened his eyes, slowly waking up. He sat up and stretched his arms high above his head and his back cracked with a satisfying soun
